TIMELINES FOR CCCEP'S ACCREDITATION REVIEW PROCESS

CCCEP provides accreditation reviews in accordance with two timelines – regular pace and fast track – for both new learning activities and conferences.

CCCEP provides only a single timeline for other application types (e.g., renewals, extensions).

You may scroll down the page, or click on the link below to go to the timeline for a specific type of activity.

TIMELINES - NEW LEARNING ACTIVITY ACCREDITATION

CCCEP provides a regular pace review and a fast track review for new learning activities or conferences.

The Initial Accreditation Review Period is the period from the date the application is deemed complete by CCCEP to the issuance of the Preliminary Report to the provider.  This period may be extended if a statutory holiday or official office closure occurs during this period.

The Final Review Period is the period from the date CCCEP receives the Provider's response to the Preliminary Report, together with any required content changes, agrees to the changes made and issues the Letter of Accreditation.

The Notification of Application is required for Fast Track Reviews so that CCCEP can have a Learning Review Panel established when the application is received.  If there is no notification, the initial accreditation period will be extended.
