Effective May 28, 2020, Kim McIntosh was re-appointed to the Board of Directors of CCCEP as the representative to the Board for the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.  Kim McIntosh replaces Ronda Eros who has represented the college since February 2019, in addition to a previous period of appointment.

Ms. McIntosh is the Assistant Registrar, Qualifications and Practice Development, at the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba. Her responsibilities include ensuring registration and licensing qualifications are met for pharmacists and listing requirements for pharmacy technicians.   Ms. McIntosh oversees the recognition and development of continuing professional development programs to help maintain professional competency of pharmacy professionals in Manitoba.  She is also the staff resource on expanded scopes of practice and opioid agonist therapy.

Pharm from the University of Manitoba and completed her Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education in 2016.  Before starting at the College in 2010, Kim worked in community pharmacy as a staff pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and pharmacy owner.  Ms. McIntosh served on CCCEP’s Board of Directors previously from 2010 to 2016 and September 2018 to February 2019.

I am excited to return to the Board of Directors with CCCEP, joining Directors from across Canada, and look forward to applying my knowledge and work experience to my role as a Board member,” said Ms. McIntosh.

CCCEP’s President Michelle Wyand echoed Ms. McIntosh’s sentiment. “Our Board is made up individuals who bring an exceptional diversity of educational and professional backgrounds,” she began. “We welcome Kim back to our Board, and the wealth of knowledge on pharmacy regulation and professional development that she brings to the table. We also thank Ronda Eros for her time with the Board during which she helped advance numerous important initiatives.”
