Fee Schedule (Effective January 1, 2015)

The fee schedule applies to learning activities submitted on or after January 1, 2015.

The total accreditation fee, plus GST, is due at the time of submission of the learning activity for accreditation and is not refundable, except for prepayment of renewals.

Payment of Accreditation Fees

Fees may be paid by credit card, cheque or other mutually agreed upon means.

Payment by credit card.

  • If you know the accreditation fee, on the on-line Accreditation Application Form, click on the PayPal button and pay through PayPal using your credit card. An invoice will be sent to you.
  • If you do not know your fee, on the on-line Accreditation Application form, click on the Invoice button. An electronic invoice will be sent to you that you may pay with your credit card through PayPal.

Payment by Cheque

  • On the on-line Accreditation Application form, click on the Cheque button.
  • An invoice will be sent to you.
  • Cheques are to be made out to the “Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy” and sent to:

Technician CE Incentive Policy

CCCEP will provide a discount on the accreditation fees for learning activities for pharmacy technicians. This discount is in effect from December 1, 2015 to June 30, 2019 (and may be extended).

The discount on the accreditation fees is:

  • 50% for the regular submission fee for new activities , extensions, activity type reviews, administrative reviews and renewals;
  • 30% for the fast track portion of the fee; and
  • 20% for conferences.

Dual Accreditation Fee Policy

A Dual Accreditation is the accreditation of a learning activity for both pharmacists and technicians, if relevant to both their practices.

They may be deemed the same learning activity if the content of the learning activity is the same or almost the same (i.e., less than 5% to 15%, depending on the number of CEUs, of the content is different). 

To obtain a dual accreditation, the provider must submit two applications. The CCCEP accreditation number contains a "P" for pharmacist activities and a "T" for technician activities.

  • First, submit the application for accreditation for either Pharmacists or Technicians; and
  • Then, submits the application for accreditation for the other pharmacy professional.

The accreditation fee for the second accreditation: 

  • Is waived if submitted for a regular review; and
  • If submitted as a fast track, the accreditation fee is waived and there a 30% reduction in the Fast Track Surcharge for the second application.

Providers are asked to contact CCCEP prior to submitting an activity for Dual Accreditation.
