Learning Review Panels
The Learning Review Panels are a central part of the CCCEP accreditation process. The Individual Program Accreditation process is essentially a peer-review process. Learning Review Panels composed of pharmacy practitioners review each program and make a recommendation on accreditation.
Learning Review Panelists may be either pharmacists or pharmacy technicians. Panels composed of Pharmacists review programs for pharmacists and panels composed of pharmacy technicians review programs for pharmacy technicians.
An effort is made to have members on each Learning Review Panel from different areas of practice (community, hospital, other) and from different parts of the country. There are five members on each panel that reviews an Independent Study Program and three members on each panel that reviews a Live Program.
