Ronda Eros Appointed to CCCEP Board of Directors

February 28, 2019 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Effective February 5, 2019, Ronda Eros was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) as the representative to the Board for the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.  Ms. Eros replaces Kim McIntosh who served as the College’s representative to the Board from 2010 to 2016 and September 2018 to February 2019.

Ms. Eros is a pharmacy practice consultant at the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba. Currently, she is working on the implementation of Safety IQ, the College’s new continuous quality improvement program for community pharmacies in Manitoba. Ronda also has over 25 years experience in community pharmacy practice. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba in 1991.  She served on CCCEP’s Board of Directors previously from September 2016 to September 2018.

“I am excited to once again serve on the Board of Directors with CCCEP, joining Directors from across Canada, to apply my knowledge and work experience to my role as a Board member for CCCEP,” said Ms. Eros.

CCCEP’s President Michelle Wyand affirmed Ms. Eros’ sentiment. “Our Board is made up individuals who bring an exceptional mix of educational and professional backgrounds,” she began. “We are delighted to welcome Ronda back to our Board. She brings a wealth of knowledge on pharmacy regulation and professional development.”
