CCCEP welcomes Georgette Clairmont and opens its new head office

 

December 10, 2019 St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador – On December 1, 2019, Ms. Georgette Clairmont joined the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) as the new Administrative Assistant and will be working from CCCEP’s new head office, now located in St. John’s NL.  

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with CCCEP and its’ providers, volunteers, and the pharmacy profession in my new role as Administrative Assistant,” said Ms. Clairmont.

Ms. Georgette Clairmont comes to CCCEP with over 35 years of experience in various administrative roles at Memorial University of Newfoundland.  Over 20 of those years were with the Division of Lifelong Learning and the School of Continuing Education. She completed a Certificate in Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1991, as well as a Secretarial Science (Legal) program at the College of Trades and Technology in 1983.   

CCCEP’s Executive Director welcomed Ms. Clairmont and wished Ms. Hoggard farewell. “CCCEP has been well served for the past nine years by a dedicated and professional Administrative Assistant. Ms. Shirley Hoggard has been a driving force in the delivery of CCCEP’s accreditation services, working closely with our providers and volunteer reviewers. On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors we wish Shirley all the very best in the future.” she began. “We are also pleased to welcome Georgette, whose expertise and background will assist CCCEP as we continue to strive for excellence in the delivery of our accreditation services.”

With Ms. Hoggard’s departure a decision was made to move the location of CCCEP’s head office from Saskatoon to St. John’s. As of December 9, 2019, CCCEP’s head office is:
