CCCEP releases its 2020-2023 Strategic Plan

June 23, 2020 St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador – The Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) has released its 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, following its unanimous endorsement at a recent meeting of the Board of Directors. The 2020-2023 Strategic Plan can be found at

The plan contains a revised mission statement for CCCEP: Ensuring quality continuing education to support health professionals in providing care. This mission, together with the strategic priorities and objectives within the plan, will guide CCCEP’s work over the next three years in support of its overall Vision:

 Excellence in Continuing Education.

Empowered Professionals.

Healthy Canadians.

In her Message from the President, President Michelle Wyand referenced the exceptional work and commitment of the Board of Directors over the past year in the development of the strategic plan, guided by CCCEP’s Executive Director. She further noted “I am confident that the Board of Directors and staff of CCCEP will work diligently to deliver on this plan and I look forward to reflecting on our accomplishments when we look back three years from now.”


The Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) is a national organization established to accredit continuing pharmacy education programs intended to be delivered to pharmacy professionals from more than one province or nationally.

CCCEP accreditation is recognized by the pharmacy regulatory authorities in all provinces and territories of Canada.
