Description/Abstract:This complimentary, 60-minute webinar for pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians features a 20-minute presentation on common challenges and complications associated with injection technique among people with diabetes. This will be followed by a moderated discussion amongst a CDE pharmacist, pharmacy technician and a person with diabetes on how pharmacy technicians and assistants can help to support and promote optimal injection technique in people newly starting on insulin or other injectable medications for diabetes, or for those who are currently using injections.
